Creative Team Building for Children During COVID

Creative team building ideas can be hard to land on in the best of times. Now that more people are getting back to “normal” how can you host a safe team building even for children? Well, lucky for you Together We Rise and our supporters are getting back into team building for good with our service activity projects. We have adjusted all of our team build service projects to include some Safer At Home options too!
Kids Coming Together to Help Kids
One of the beautiful things about partnering with Together We Rise on a creative team building project is that they are great for people of all ages. Even during the time of COVID, people can still make a difference with the small groups they do see.
Recently the students at the Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Denver, NC raised nearly $1,000 to help sponsor a Sweet Case service project. The Sweet Case creative team building project allows people to decorate and assemble new duffle bags with comfort items.
The students first started a fundraiser to cover the cost of the duffle bags. Once they reached their goal they were sent 35 Sweet Cases to decorate and assemble. It is a fun interactive way to show children in care that you support them.
Creative Team Building
Teaching children to give back to the community is an important value. Especially right now when so many people in our communities are suffering.
The students donated the completed Sweet Cases to the Department of Social Services in Lincoln County. Thanks to the work these kiddos did, they were able to learn the importance of caring and spreading kindness.
In Conclusion
In conclusion, we want to thank the children and staff at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool for helping support children in foster care within their community. It is never too soon to start giving back.
