Fun Team Building Activities with AIG
We love doing fun team building activities with AIG. This week we spent some time with them in NY for a Birthday Box build.
Who is AIG?
AIG is a multinational finance and insurance corporation that is committed to helping its community. Their sustainability report cites.
At AIG, both our client service and philanthropic activities help others prepare for the future and overcome the most difficult challenges. As a steadfast advocate for our employees, we primarily support our communities by advancing causes important to AIG colleagues in two ways: providing two days of Volunteer Time Off per employee and through the AIG Matching Grants Program. We are also proud to support partner organizations that reflect the diversity of our people.
What Actually Happened
150 AIG staff from all around the world participated in the Birthday Box build. The event took place in the majestic Downtown Marriott in New York City. These fun team building activities took place as part of AIG’s quarterly leadership summit. It was amazing to see leaders from AIG’s team in Africa, Asia and across Europe come together in one space.
AIG is a long standing partner of Foster Love - Together We Rise. Subsequently, we work on projects all year-round to provide Birthday Boxes to foster youth. We chatted with Liz Newell, AIG, Program Manager, who said.
“On behalf of the Early Career team, thank you for partnering with us once again for another successful event! The November AIG Insurance Academy Class of 2019 greatly enjoyed learning about your organization and having the opportunity to make a foster child’s birthday that much more special. Our participants expressed that this was their favorite part of the day!”
Thank You For Being A Friend
AIG is a huge friend and supporter of TWR and we look forward to continue our impact in New York City with their help in 2020. The recipient of all 150 Birthday Boxes is an incredible TWR partner, Sheltering Arms, NY. Thank you to the AIG team for their continued help.
In short, for those interested in fun team building activities that help kids in foster care. Contact us here, we can’t wait to help you get something started.
