Volunteer Fosters Care with CH Robinson

Together We Rise helps with lots of charitable team building events volunteer fosters care across the country. But some of the best ones are right in our own backyard!

CH Robinson held a charity bike-building event at their corporate office in Claremont, California. That is just up the freeway from our office here in Brea. We have built a relationship with CH Robinson and have visited their headquarters before.

Brimming with excitement the CH Robinson’s team of 24 volunteers waited patiently to start the project. Since most volunteers had participated in a Bike Build program before, the entire team building event went off without a hitch!

Each team of two assembled a bike every half hour throughout the day. Leaving plenty of time in-between building bikes to get to know one another and bond as a team. The best part of these events is knowing that each bike assembled goes to a local foster care agency in the area.

The donations went to The Heart Matters Foster Family Agency in Riverside. Our program coordinators had a wonderful time helping out the CH Robinson team and we would be ecstatic to come back and do it all over again.
