Intern Spotlight: Fro Yo for Foster Care

Holley’s Place Frozen Yogurt in Centralia, Washington wanted to help by partnering with Marissa Dykman, an awesome member of the Foster Love - Together We Rise online foster youth internship.
On August 20th, Holley’s Place generously donated 50% of their profits to Foster Love - Together We Rise! Because of this, Marissa will be able to provide 30 Sweet Cases to foster children in Lewis County, Washington. In addition to this, Holley’s husband has graciously opened up his business space, Hub City Supply, for Marissa’s Sweet Case Build in November!
“I grew up in a foster home. Although I was adopted as a baby, 74 children came in and out of our home anywhere from a few days to a few years at a time. As a little girl, my eyes met new friends every time my mom opened the door. Usually, they carried a black garbage bag with all their belongings.”
-Holley Myers Kaiser, owner
Without help from our online interns, we wouldn’t be able to provide Sweet Cases to children all over the nation. Thank you to Holley, her family, and Marissa Dykman!
